He decides to remove only part of your brain!

“I’ve always wanted to do this.” He says cheerily as he prepares his tools. “You see, every scientist worth his test tube has wanted to swap two organisms’ brains. I want to be a bit more...unique. I have preserved several brains for this particular moment, and now I am going to delicately remove parts of yours and replace them with parts from these.”

You blink, a bit confused. “What?”

“Don’t worry, it’ll make more sense once we begin.” A needle pricks you, numbing your body, and you slowly fade into darkness as the scientist works on cutting your head open.
