“Too stupid and generic” He said before the police busted down the door and helped your family and the various animals off the metal beds. The animals end up in either a shelter as your family returned home safely and watched the cops arrest your crazy mad scientist neighbor getting arrested for kidnapping. He ended up getting life in prison and your new neighbors are a nice young family
