Jason was Tommy's older brother. Jason was a senior, the star quarterback, and all around handsome man. It was rumored that his smile brought a puppy back to life.
Tommy, on the other hand, was nerdy and not very popular. He was a junior and the top of his class. It was rumored that he scored a perfect score on the ACT.
"Hey Jason," You reply seductively as you bat your eyelashes.
"Why, hello there," Jason replies, pulling up a chair and sitting next to you.
"How come the most handsome boy in school doesn't have a date to Prom yet?" You ask Jason, leaning in closer.
"Because I promised Tommy that I wouldn't get a date unless he gets a date," Jason answered, sliding closer to you.
"How about Tommy and Sarah go together?" You answer. "That way you and I can go together. We'll double-date."
Tommy looked over at Sarah, their eyes met and they both blushed.
"I like the sound of that," Jason agreed. "What time do you want us to pick you lovely ladies up?"
"Six, at Sarah's," You quickly answer, while scribbling down directions to Sarah's house on a napkin.
Tommy and Jason soon depart and you are left alone with Sarah.
"What do you think you're doing?" Sarah demanded.
"I was getting us dates for next Saturday," You casually reply.
"That's fine I guess, but what has gotten over you? You've been acting strange since we bought our dresses." Sarah added, concerned over your behavior.
"Can't a girl have fun? Besides, it's like, totally YOLO." You reply, rolling your eyes.
You and Sarah finish your shopping and leave the mall. Sarah is barely speaking to you by the end of the end of the day. School is not much better and the two of your are really starting to get on each other's nerves.
