Being of noble birth, Evelyn’s life in the Circle was far more luxurious than that of the average mage. Just about everything was handed up to her on a silver platter; literally in most cases. With so little to do other than study magic, Evelyn would fill most of her free time with either food or sex, which left her more out of shape and heavier than the other mages in the tower. Yet, however spoiled she may have been, she was not stupid. She knew other mages in other Circle towers were suffering, but she was just as confined to her tower as they were to theirs, and could do nothing to help them. So, she enjoyed her pleasurable, if boring, existence for all her years in the towe. That is until the Devine called for the conclave, and she was given the opportunity to not only venture out of the tower as she dreamt of, but to help her fellow mages as well.
That plan, of course, went up in flames along with the rest of Haven, and set her on the path to become the leader of the Inquisition. However, an overweight, out of shape, poorly adjusted did not make for a good leader. She would need help if she ever wanted to make a difference, and she had just the person in mind to whip her into shape, for the sake of not just her fellow mages, but all of Thedas, and she had just the person in mind.
