Shaking your head, you realize that protecting your loved ones is the only way you would risk dying.
You find another path and spot a boy about your age leaving the town. Chasing after him you tell him to wait and eventually his steps slow down and he turns to face you.
"Can I come with?" You ask and at first he looks like he is about to decline but you press on. "We'll have better chances of survival. Come on."
He still doesn't look to happy with you coming along but nonetheless he introduces himself as Kirito and both of you dart off in the direction of the next town.
