something happens at work

jason sat at his security desk, still exhausted from his earlier shift at the store. the lab was at the outskirts of town, where pharmaceuticals were developed. nothing ever happens at this job, so takes that time to rest and think about things, his past life with belinda, how things were looking so great, until tragedy struck when she died during child birth. he was heartbroken, but he had to go on for lucy. it was hard raising her on his own, but he knew he had to do what he had to do. suddenly while lost in thought, he sees something picked up by the camera on the monitors. theres an intruder! the alarm goes off,

"INTRUDER ALERT INTRUDER ALERT SUSPECT IN SECTOR D

jason was startled and went out to investigate, not to nervous, usually its just some teenagers wanting to graffiti the place but they always get out and run away; he walked unnervingly towards sector d, he saw some shadows of people in the distance. jason is unnarmed so was careful as he approached. "dont move,stay where you are!" when suddenly he heard shots fired.

BANG BANG

jason was startled, and stood still for a secondm before a sharp pain hit his stomach. he realized he had just been shot. he fell to the floor, collapsing, as his blood spewed on the pavement. "oh noo..noo.. please.. i cant die.. not now...LUCY!" he cried out in despair. but it was too late, he felt himself begin to pass out and everything became dark.
