“Well Mitch, you’ve done it this time.” Says Principal Connelly as he wipes chocolate pudding off his shirt, which is completely soiled. “First you pop fireworks during homecoming, then you replace all the gym balls with blown up condoms, and now you’ve started a food fight that will take days to clean up. Have you anything to say for yourself?”
Mitch Keller was sitting slumped in his seat, a handsome yet gruff looking young man, wearing the latest in skater fashions, not listening to a word he said. “huh? Oh sorry, I noticed you got some pudding on your nice khakis and it kind of looks like you shit yourself.”
“Mitch Keller, you are in for a rude awakening.” Says the Principal. He buzzes his secretary. “Send in Ms. Keller please.”
Ms Keller, a beautiful but overworked woman, walks in wearing her waitress apron and very angry. Ms Keller was known at her work for having a very pretty face that Mitch much to his chagrin inherited. But now that faces beauty was distorted with rage. “Seriously Mitch? This is the second time this month!! If I keep having to come down like this Mr Rios is going to fire me!”
“Do not worry Ms Keller, this is the last time you will be coming down on account of Mr Keller’s actions. This being his 3rd strike, he is going to be suspended. Indefinitely.”
“Now you’ve done it Mitch Keller!! I swear to god when we get home, I am going to make your life a living hell!!” yells Ms Keller before putting her palm to her head in frustration.
“Indefinitely? I don’t know why you don’t just expel me! I hate this stupid school and I’d rather go Shoreman high with my girlfriend.” Responds a apathetic Mitch as he looks out the window at the girls softball team practice.
Principal Conelly buzzes in a security guard. A fat security guard that looks like jack black walks in. “officer mike, will you escort Mitch outside while I talk to his mother alone?” Mitch sighs loudly as he leaves with security. “Ms Keller, if I may be frank, but have you considered maybe mitch isn’t cut out for school? I’ve known your son since elementary, and he was always a stellar child when it came to tests and grades, but his behavior closed a lot of doors for him. Its been getting worse and worse every year.”
“well what do you suggest I do? Ive sent him to all kinds of therapists and camps, but nothings worked. Hes fifteen now and I just don’t know what else to do.” Says Ms Keller, holding back tears.
“well, I might have something. Before I became a principal, I worked for a company called the Claus Corporation. They have a special work and study program for specifically for troubled teens. However, It’s like nothing else out there, and it going to be a lot for him to handle, however it’s the only thing I know of at this point to help significantly.”
“what kind of work study program? What do they do?”
“well, this is where it gets kind of….strange, but if anythings going to get through to Mitch, its this.
“I don’t know if I like the sound of this, Mitch may be misbehaved, but I don’t want him suffering or-“
“PRINCIPAL CONELLY!!” in runs the security guard, out of breath and red faced. “Mitch, he..he got away.. I ran after..him..but hes too fast..”
“Its okay, let him go.” Says Ms Keller with a look of wrath on her face. “tell more about this program.”
