The sound of groaning and hissing was the last thing Joey remember hearing before he woke up. The blonde boy shook his head and rubbed his eyes. "Another...another one of those stupid dreams..." he mutter to himself. Throughout the past week, Joey's dreams had been exceptionally bizarre though they all followed the same pattern: In some way, Joey ends up the size of a blimp and ready to pop. And it is always Yugi who's doing it.
Monday night, he dreamed that Yugi had glued a rubber tube to his mouth and then proceeded to blow him up like a balloon.
Tuesday night, Joey dreamt that Yugi was a butler and served him gallon after gallon of fizzy soda until he was a big as a water bed.
Wednesday, he had a dream where Yugi had snuck a hose down the back of his pants. That hose was connected to a helium tank which almost instantly transformed Joey into a parade float.
Tonight was the weirdest dream. In it, Yugi approached Joey and, without warning, locked lips with him. But soon he realized that Yugi was blowing up his body with air. Joey tried to shove Yugi anyway, but the air flow was relentless and Joey's body expanded in all directions. Yugi only stopped to utter "He's gonna blow!" to his best friend before puffing him up to his absolute limit.
Joey fetched himself a glass of cold water from his kitchen. Back in his bedroom, he noticed the cards and crumpled foil on his desk. Last week, his best friend had gifted him a booster pack of Duel Monster cards. None were that rare, with the exception of one.
Joey clicked on his desk light and sat down. He grabbed the new cards and thumbed through them. "Man-Eater Bug, Monster Reborn, Kunai With Chain...Air Indulgence..."
He had never see or heard of this card before. Holding the card up to the light, Joey studied the image of a greedy face with bulbous cheeks sucking in air. It reminded him of those cartoons of storm clouds viciously blowing wind. But in this case, the angry face was taking in air.
"Trap Card. When activated, restore your Life Points 200 points for each card placed on the field... including this card. Not bad..." Joey said. "It'll help when I'm getting my butt kicked."
Clicking off his desk light, Joey tossed the cards back onto his desk and went back to bed where he had yet another strange dream where Dream Yugi grows him massive.

"You okay, Joey?"
He yawned, again. Throughout the school day, Joey had barely been able to stay awake. Because of his dreams, his sleep had been restless and was now paying its toll on him. Joey was barely shuffling his feet along the sidewalk as he and his best friend headed home for the day. "Yeah, I'm just tired. That's all. Ain't been sleeping well."
"Oh, I'm sorry, Joey," Yugi said. "Why haven't you been sleeping well?"
"Just...dumb reasons."
"Have you been eating spicy foods before bed again?" Yugi asked.
Joey gave him a slight shove. "No! I've just been having...uh, weird dreams."
"Like?"
"Like none of your business."
"Come on, Joey, we're best friends. If something is bothering you, I want to know so I can help."
Joey yawned again. "Well, maybe you can help out with something..."
