You doubt this e-mail is real, but it has made you realise how much you were sleep-walking through life, and had now cast away the happier choices earlier in your life. It was a life as a drudge, a monotonous routine, or preparing his meals, and seeing the kids off to school. Enthusing about their tedious stories, and faking it.
You do love them, but you have to confess to not liking them. It's a painful revelation, but staring across to the man you married. The sight only gives you more pain, and the feeling you've settled.
