Samus was worried about the estimated fifty percent failure rate, but she wasn't exactly keen on permanently reshaping her body, even if the permanent upgrade was more useful than her current one. A fifty percent chance of getting back to normal was better than a one hundred percent chance of remaining permanently altered.
"Computer, what would happen if applying a second upgrade failed to allow for chip removal."
The computer clicked and whirred for a moment, before the monitor said, "Insufficient data to form conclusion."
Samus let out a heavy sigh. That wasn't exactly the answer she was hoping for. She had hoped for a solid answer to what would happen to the second upgrade if it failed. Would it be able to be removed, and allow her to try again with a different upgrade, or would it become stuck just like the Pear Upgrade currently was? It was a troubling thought, but considering her other option was to admit defeat and permanently alter her body, she wasn't giving up. Now it was a matter of figuring out which upgrade she should attempt to apply alongside the Pear Upgrade.
