This choice: Meanwhile at loretta's house • Go Back...Chapter #4Meanwhile at loretta's house by: kevinb1 As Will was staring at the ceiling waiting until morning he heard a noise, it sounded like someone sneaking around, then hearing the door of the trailer it sounded like they were sneaking out. He could hear his dad snoring so he knew it wasn't him, it had to be Loretta, or Rod, not like he was sleeping anyway, he crept out of the top bunk and out of the trailer to see what was going on.
Ready to step into the darkness of the night, quietly closing the door behind him, Will immediately noticed a light coming from his left. Just to the left of the steps of the trailer on a table a candle burned brightly into the darkness. Next to the table in a chair sat a full figured woman in a pink bathrobe.
"Can't sleep I'm sorry if the bed isn't that comfortable I called David and Vicky and they said you and your father could sleep over there tomorrow, that way were not all crammed in here" Loretta spoke in a quiet one.
"That's fine but my bed is fine, it's just you know being here and all" Will answered back trying to match the volume of Loretta's words.
"Well I don't blame you I don't like it either."
"Not like it I love it, it's so peaceful quiet out here, the beautiful country side, the lakes, the fishing, plus your whole family is great David, Vicky, Rod, you it's like your one big happy family."
She laughed, "So do you have your plans all set for next year, your college and your career?"
"Actually I'm thinking of not even going to college, to me all life is about is finding a job your happy with, finding a person your happy to be with then marrying them raising a family and hopefully spending the rest of your life with that person while watching your family grow just like you and Rod have done. I don't need a fancy car, clothes or house something like this I'd be more then happy with, a life like yours or Rods is all I really want so why should I go to college. Rod didn't, you didn't and your happy."
"Because you don't want to be like me, you think this is the life I wanted? To be working at a dirty greasy car garage as a bookkeeper who has to play grab ass all day with the owner of the shop her husband. To be waking up next to a husband, whose a overweight, greasy, filthy pig and I don't mean just a filthy pig on the outside or with his words. Rod's motto is nookie a day keeps the doctor away, not to mention his rule about morning wood he shouldn't have to deal with it all day so when he wakes up with it, it's solved in one of two ways if I'm lucky enough to wake up first i have to give him a blow job or if I try and sleep in I'm awakened suddenly with quite a bang, being pounded from behind by a horny not so gentle man. Then there's David he's is turning into his father and there's nothing I can do to stop it, and Vicky she's not going to put up with it like me. So how is he going to satisfy his needs if Vicky's not going to do it, is their marriage going to last, what's going to happen to their children, to my grandchildren? I worry about it everyday, I just know David will end up here in our cramped little trailer with my grandchildren running around when it's his time to watch them.
Will sat there in stunned silence Loretta telling him all her thoughts and feelings even about the most intimate details of her life, her sex life
"Sorry Will I didn't mean to" she started to say before I interrupted.
"It's al right I promise I won't say a word, what you said is safe with me, but everyone has problems, that's life, do you really think your problems are worse then anyone else? Lots of people have families that aren't perfect, divorced, separated it's not like it's the end of the world. As for Rod I don't know I think he's a great guy, owns his own business, provides for his family, for you, it's not like your broke. As for the nookie and morning wood, well do you know how many women after being married as long as you have would love a husband who desires them, wants them as much as it seems Rod wants you. Even after all these years it seems like he loves you just as much as the day he married you and your complaining about it."
"Love that's what you call love being someone's sex toy, it's humiliating and degrading."
"I call it love and I beg to differ, it's called showing your appreciation for each other, showing how grateful you are for your husband and all that he does for you, and how lucky you are to have him."
She laughed "To be young and foolish again, you wouldn't be saying all that if you were sitting in this spot", that's when she felt it, she remembered the ring.
"Foolish, I think your the one being foolish Loretta., just saying."
And then he said it, she's been so wanting to use it on Rod it was suppose to solve her problems swap their bodies, give Rod a taste of his own medicine, but she didn't know if it would work so she saved it right here in her bathrobe pocket the safest place and the place she could dream at night out here on the patio of giving Rod his just desserts or of getting a life she deserved. She just couldn't get herself to use it because if it did work and she used it on Rod he would cry like a girl from her body and it would just probably cause more problems then good. If it didn't work her dreams would be over, her escape from reality done with but now staring at her was an opportunity to hard to pass up, foolish she'll show him. She slipped the ring on her finger.
"Foolish, coming from someone whose graduating in a few months and has no idea what they want to do with their life. I'd love to be young again, to be you Will, a senior in high school, then next year off to college the best years of your life, the years I missed out on pregnant with David and not being able to afford to go anyway. Then graduate find a nice job as an accountant not a bookkeeper at a small garage, and not having to quit to raise a family instead I can marry a beautiful wife and have amazing children in a big house with an expensive car, living out the American dream. You can be Loretta, the friend of your parents, you can live my life the one you think I'm so foolish to complain about, deal with my children and grandchildren, be married to they guy who you think is so great, let him play grab ass all day at my tedious boring job, then as his wife you can show him how much you appreciate him, how grateful you are to have him as your husband, how lucky you are by getting lucky with him, giving him his nookie a day and dealing with his morning wood. Sounds perfect to me," Loretta reached her right hand over the table and candle and caressed Will's shoulder, the same hand that had the ring on "let's trade places"
Right as those words escaped her mouth she felt what was like an electric shock coming from the ring right at the same time as a gust of wind came blowing out the candle in one fell swoop, darkness surround the two. Loretta pulled her arm away and picked up the candle lighter and lit the candle once again. That's when she noticed.
