Chapter #6The possessor confesses by: haxxare   "Alright... you got me. I'm not Jimmy" Jimmy said, with a mischievous smile. Noticing he wasn't continuing, you motion with your arms. Finally, Jimmy spills the beans. "I'm... well, I'm Lucy."
"Pfft. Yeah right" you snorted. This had to be one of Jimmy's pranks. Surely.
"No, serious. I found this scroll yesterday... and it gave me this sweet power. I can turn into a ghost and possess anyone I want. I've been using it nonstop since I got it. First my mom..." Jimmy, or Lucy apparently, said. Then, going a bit red in the face... "I was you earlier today, then during the seance I also hopped into Julia, and now I'm in Jimmy."
"Wait a minute... that was you? You're the reason I blacked out?" you asked, finally putting two and two together.
"Yeah..."
"And you did what exactly?" you were quivering. Lucy recoils in Jimmy's body.
"Sorry! I just... couldn't help myself. I remembered from when we were still a couple... and... "
"You didn't leave the room, did you?" you asked quietly.
"No. I just stayed in your room."
"Fuuuuck..." you whispered. You couldn't believe it. Assuming any of it was true, Lucy had borrowed your body without asking and had had her way with it. If it had been your girlfriend, or if she was still your girlfriend it would have been different, but you had decided to just stay friends...
"I get that you're upset with me right now. I'm so sorry! Is there any way I can make it up to you?" Lucy begged.
"Well you can start by leaving Jimmy's body and talking to me as yourself..." you muttered. "Don't hide behind someone else's face."
Jimmy walked out with a dejected expression. Minutes passed without anyone saying anything, until finally you heard a voice behind you. You turned around to see Lucy sitting on your bed, legs crossed. She was dressed in a tank top, short skirt, knee-high stockings and wasn't wearing any shoes.
"Um... hi?" she said. "I can turn into a ghost and kinda go through walls..." she added, as if you hadn't put two and two together.
You didn't acknowledge her, still just staring off into space.
"Oh come on John, can you please say something? I feel terrible..." Lucy moaned. "Is there anything at all I can do to get you to forgive me?"
"I don't even know." you said. "That was a pretty big breach of trust there Luc" you added.
"What about... what if I let you borrow the powers?" she asked, hopeful.
"Can you even do that?"
"I think so..." Lucy said. "The scroll did have some more words on the back when I read them. I assume I can just use that to put the power back. Anyway... I'll be right back!"
In a puff of golden smoke, Lucy vanished from sight. You assumed she'd gone to get the scroll... since she could travel through walls and such, and it would cause some awkward questions if someone found her in your room, alone with you, without anyone having seen her come in.
What now?
