Well, it looks like there's something else ...

A low, grumbling noise echoed throughout the grasslands. The dire wolves, once sleepy and tired from their feast, got back onto their feet and left as quickly as they could in their present heavily-bloated state. The pack swiftly left the area leaving behind the remains of the bloated deer.

William wasn't sure what exactly was scaring off the dire wolves. But whatever it is must be dangerous to scare off such already terrifying creatures.

Our adventurer didn't have to wait long to see what was coming.

Out of the tall grasses came what had to be the biggest tiger William had ever seen. It was just as tall as any of the dire wolves, but its girth would have put them to shame. The tiger, as far as William could tell, must have been seven or eight feet wide. Its furry, creme-colored gut hung a mere inch off of the ground and jiggled with each of the tiger's step. The creature sported an impressively massive rump and thick legs most likely grown from having to carry around such a huge amount of weight. And just under the tiger's bright red mane was a tire of fat that covered its entire neck.

William watched in awe as the one-ton tiger slowly made its way towards the deer's carcass with each step causing the earth to shake briefly. The massive tiger saw the remains of the deer and immediately began to feast of the rest of the deer's blubbery belly.

As the tiger engorged himself on the carcass, William just stares at the tiger from behind the boulder. He had never seen a tiger that large before. It's astounding that the thing was still able to waddle around at its size. No wonder the dire wolves scattered.

Suddenly, William was struck with an idea. The tiger was massive and clearly had the size advantage over any opponent. But William had speed and agility. "I should be able to easily give the thing the run-around," thought William. "I could poke it in the rump and it will take a week for it to turn around and get me." A few quick stabs with his rusted sword and William should be able to best the tiger. And the bounty that big of a creature would bring him would be huge. Just the pelt alone should be able to fetch a nice price. Maybe some member of nobility needs a massive tiger-skin rug for the floor of his dining hall.

The tiger was finishing the last of the carcass. If William was going to attack, now is his best chance. What does William do?
