You can use them on others

With that the magician vanished.

You excitedly look at the objects in your hands. You notice that they are no longer as gray as they were before. In fact they seem to be taking on the color of your skin.

Now you know they can affect your friends too, you feel slightly torn. On the one hand you want to try them on yourself first. On the other you want to experiment with your friends. Which do you do?
