"No way" you reply "I'll find it myself and save money."
"We'll see how long that lasts" Veera replied. After three hours of searching for you're phone you give up and return to Veera who was laying on the couch comfortably watching television. "Ready to give up?" She asks innocently.
"Yeah, okay I give up... What do you want"
"I want one of those comfort blankets that I keep seeing on T.V." She replies. I think it would be great for afternoon naps!"
"But those are forty dollars a piece! And that's without shipping!" you reply.
"Not if you order in the next fifteen minutes" Veera counters.
You sigh as you pick up your house phone and order her the blanket. "Okay, I ordered your blanket. Now will you please tell me where my cell phone is?"
"Are you sure you really looked for it?" She asks.
"Of course I am, I looked everywhere" you retort "Just tell me where you hid it already!"
"I didn't hide it."
"Saywhatnow?" You ask thoroughly confused. You knew Veera to be a bit of a trickster, but she was also kind and considerate and certainly was not a liar.
"I didn't hid it" She repeats "It's on that phone case attached to the side of your belt." As if to make sure it wasn't a mirage you reach down and feel the side of your hip and sure enough you feel your cell phone case and in your phone case you found your phone. You mentally kicked yourself for forgetting it was there.
