Just as you finish dinner however two thieves break your kitchen window and draw knives. This was very unfortunate... for them. "Give us your wallet, your keys and your pin numbers" one of the thieves demanded.
"Okay, okay!" You cry out "I'll do whatever you want just please don't... don't..." you couldn't finish your sentence because you broke into a fit of laughter. The two thieves looked at each other in confusion. You then straighten up and wipe a tear from you eye. "I'm sorry, I can't do this... It's not that I'm not taking you seriously it's just... well actually that's exactly what it is."
"Do you think this is a joke?!" One of the men shouted.
"Yep, and the joke's on you." You reply "you guys picked the wrong house to rob." Just then Mira pounces from behind you and bounds over your head landing on the man closest to you. Although he was wearing a mask you could practically see the fear on his face.
"Get it off me! GET IT OFF" he cried as Mira shredded his clothes and gave him a few minor scratches before clamping her jaws down on his leg and dragging him downstairs and into the darkness of the basement. "Help me! Don't let it take me!" The man cried while his partner just sat there shaking.
"Mira!" You call down "Don't put that in your mouth! You don't know where he's been!"
Suddenly all of the noise stops and a pair of green eyes pierce through the darkness to stare at the thief cowering against the wall. Mira's body then comes into sight and she stops just in front of the visibly shaken man and utters two words "You're next".
This was the breaking point for that poor man "Keep away from me you... you demon! I've gotta get out of here!" He then runs away screaming into the night.
Mira then walks up beside you as you watch him run away "Did you enjoy the show?" She asks.
"Who says that a dog is man's best friend?" You ask as you pet her "You beat a normal pet any day. Well now that that's over, I should probably..."
