As Kennadi kept on inspecting the costumes, she noticed a strange looking device left on the ground. "Huh? When did this get here?" she pondered as she picked it up. "Wait...I remember one of the scientists was browsing the costumes earlier. Must have forgotten to take this with him." she said.
She looked over the device with a strange curiosity before accidentally pressing the big green button on it. A strange purple glow came from it as it fired. The purple beam fired from the device bounced around the room from mirror to mirror as if it were a single bouncy ball into it zapped Kennadi right in the butt.
"Ow! What the heck?" she said rubbing her sore bottom. "What kind of device is this? Some sort of painful laser?" she groaned as she put it in her bag. "Whatever. I'll just returned it to the owner once the party gets started. Oh...speaking of which, I better get going before they start without me." she said as she headed out.
As she left however, she was completely unaware of the rays effects as....
