"Man, I can't believe how someone can have their head jammed so far up their..." Katie griped until Miranda broke her off mid-sentence.

"Tell me about it! She's so conceited, I heard she spends at least two or three hours every morning with her face alone!" Miranda relpied.

"What a shocker for someone who can't take five minutes without using her compact," Katie quipped, softly chuckling at her observation.

"Well, rumor has it she's up to no good again."

"Is that so? I'm not surprised in the least. She after me again?"

"How'd you guess?"

"Elementary, my dear Miranda," Katie retorted with her hand coming up to look like she was waving an old-timey pipe. :She's always been a pain in my backside for the longest time now. You'd think someone like her could grow up a bit and try to be her own person. Oh well, nothing she can do to me that I can't just shrug off..."

"That's just it Katie, she's not going all out this time. At least if Savannah Highlander is to be trusted. It sounds like she's going for a much stealthier course of action, like hidden cameras or something." Miranda shot a glance about them, ensuring they weren't being wired.

"Relax Miranda, we've totally got this thing. Besides, she wouldn't dare bother us with such an important game coming up against our old rivals."

"I wouldn't put it past her..." Miranda grumbled.
