Brian felt guilty for considering even for a moment not telling Emily and Sean about his powers. They were his best friends, and super cool powers are meant to be shared with friends. "Guys, you aren't going to believe this but...I have some sort of super power."
Both Sean and Emily looked at Brian as though he was high. "Oh yeah, you aren't just gonna believe me. I've gotta do something first I think." And so Brian concentrated and thought that he wanted Emily and Sean to be aware of the changed he'd made to himself. And suddenly the eyes that were narrowed in suspicion opened in wide eyed wonder. Sean was the first to find her voice, "What the hell man! You just got muscular all of the sudden, but then I thought you had them your whole life, and now it's just...I think I have a headache. This is crazy."
Emily was a little more cautions and looked around to make sure none of your family was within earshot before her mini freak out. "Have you been having any odd visions lately? And experience with alien lifeforms? Have you had an experience with spirits? Did you use a Ouija board recently?"
"No to the last few things, but I did have a weird dream last night." And so Brian told his friends about the voice and dream from last night. Both friends seemed incredibly excited.
"This is fantastic! We can cause some real change at the school with your power!" Emily said happily.
"Forget change, we can actually be popular! With that body you're practically already half way there!" Sean said voicing a base desire.
"Let's just talk it over first." Brian said trying to calm his friends a little bit. "What are you guys thinking?"
"Well, we were talking about how the football players are the most popular, you with a body like that you could join the football team and since we'd still be friends we would all be popular by proxy." Sean said adjusting his glasses that were in danger of falling off since he was shaking so much with excitement.
"Yeah, that could work!" Brian said as he thought about possibly playing football and then quickly soured on the idea, "But I still don't want to get hit or hit other people. That just isn't for me."
"Then you could be a kicker then, they don't get hurt. My parents were watching the news last night and i think the headline story was about the kicker who had won the game for the team." Emily threw out there but you show your head, "I saw it too, but the reason it was a big story was because the kicker was a girl, and she had won homecoming queen the same night."
"Then you could do that." Emily through out there casually drawing odd looks from Brian and Sean. "What? Do guys have problems with the idea of being a girl." Emily said with narrowed eyes. The boys not wanting to draw her ire just simply said, "No." And changed the subject.
"You said you could turn into items and animals and stuff right? Why don't you try that out." Sean inquired.
"I think I would be popular at home if I turned into a puppy or something. I'm sure I'd be more popular with Cassie than I am now at least. But I don't think I can change reality so that if I was a cow or something I'd still go to my classes."
"A cow! That's it!" Emily said standing up. "Brian, if you can turn into anything and stay human...ish. You should turn into part cow! That way I'm sure you'd be popular and unique at school, but you'd also help discourage our fellow students from eating beef!" Brian and Sean shared an exasperated look. For the last few weeks Emily had started going vegetarian and was a bit annoying about it. Just to change the subject again more than anything Brian decided to use his powers again on himself to see what it would be like.
