"There you are, Jess." smiling, his mom, Grace said. "We thought we lost you."
Grace was tall and slender with long blond hair and blue eyes. She had a figure most young models would kill for at the age of thirty and she knew it. Behind her was Jessie's older sister, Jennifer or Jen for short was a near mirror image of her mother both wearing a modest skirt and blouse with high heeled shoes.
"What's up, Jess?" Curious, Jen asked. "Did you find something you like?"
"I was just about to show your daughter the latest in our junior fashions." politely, the saleslady said. "She seems a bit shy..."
Grace and Jen looked at the saleslady confused but only for a second before they turned to Jessie with a smile that resembled a python looking down at a mouse. Jessie gulped again, wanting to run but Grace already had a strong hand onto his shoulder. "It won't hurt you to try on some new fashions... Jessica." Grinning, she said. "Have a little sense of adventure."
"No one will force you to buy anything." Grinning as well, Jen said. "Just humor us for now and have some fun."
Jessie sighed, seeing that he was not going to get out of this without possibly making things worse for himself. "Fine." softly, he said. Then he whispered, "I better get something extra for getting embarrassed like this."
Grace smiled. "Don't be so fussy." Lightly, she said. "It's just clothing."
