Maria answered the door, her tan, attractive face smiling as it caught sight of you. "Hi, Ken! How's it going?" she asked, in a cheerful tone. You smiled back and told her you were fine. You liked your aunt Maria - not only was she kind and supportive, but she also looked good for her age, which wasn't that old, but she still looked good. She wore a grey-ish piece that showed off her tan, ample cleavage, along with blue jeans and brown leather boots. You felt like you'd be safe shrinking with her, although you couldn't be too sure...
You walked into the house behind Maria, carrying the ray's box under your arm. She asked you if you wanted anything to drink, you politely said no. You both went into the lush living room and sat down, and she crossed her legs and asked you a question.
"So, Ken, what brings you here?"
You explained, as best as you could, the project you were undergoing, how the company would pay your tuition if you shrunk yourself and kept records. You told Maria she'd be the one to keep the records while you shrank and did the tests. While you explained the setup, Maria's expression went from confusion, to disbelief, to curiosity, to a certain kind of pleasure. When you asked her to help you, she was smiling again. Maybe she was just curious to see if the device actually worked, or maybe she really wanted to see you shrunk. You wondered, but she was the only one around to help, so you'd assume the best. All three of your cousins were at school, and they were a bit too young to trust with a shrink ray anyway.
"Sure thing, Kenny, I'll help you out."
"Thanks, Maria!" you said. "Now just take the ray, point it at me, and push the button."
"Alright." She took it in her two hands, you stood up, and she got ready to fire. She stopped suddenly and asked, "How small are you going to be?" She sounded as if she still didn't believe it.
"I don't know. Don't hold it down too long, OK?"
"OK."
Maria must have been confident, because she shot you with the device about a second later. Immediately you began to shrink, the room and its objects rising in height above you. Maria was so entranced with your shrinking body that she forgot to stop the shrinking, and when she took her finger off the button, you stood at a tiny 2 inches tall. For a second, you couldn't see anything, and then realized that you were stuck in the shag carpeting of the living room. You brushed it away and tried to take a look around the room. It was too huge to take in all at once, but you did get an eyeful of your enormous aunt Maria. Her giant brown boots towered over you, and even her ankles were higher than you. She leaned over, hands on her hips, looking back at you. At first, she looked too amazed for words, but then a smile slowly spread across her face. Then, she laughed.
"My, Ken, you are tiny! I didn't know anyone could be so...so...small!"
Neither did you.
