"Excellent." your mother says. "I'll let her know."
The arrangements are made and you get on with riding out the last term of school.
Summer finally arrives and you make the most of they time you have with your friends. You know that you won't be seeing them again until at least the next holidays.
A week before school is scheduled to start your mother drives you to the train station. "Now you behave for Miss Thompson." she says for the 100th time.
"Yes Mom." you say.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay on the train by yourself?" she asks. "It's a very long trip."
"Yes." you say, feeling very grown up to be taking a long train journey by yourself.
She helps you get your bags into the luggage compartment of the train then gives you a long tight hug, kissing you on the forehead as she releases you.
"I'll be fine Mom." you reassure her, finally getting onto the train. The train ride is uneventful. You entertain yourself with your comic book collection.
After a few hours your train finally pulls into the city. You get off and find your bags. They are heavy. You won't be able to move them all by yourself so you wait there and hope Ms Thompson knows where to look.
Unfortunately you need to pee and you've already been holding on for a while.
