Naruto winced as everything spun, while excruciating pain surged through his entire body, forcing him to roar out in agony before finally losing consciousness...
OoOoOoO
As Naruto ever so slowly started to regain consciousness, his senses started to take in the impressions of his surroundings. He tiredly, hesitantly started to open his eyes. Once that was done, he raised his head and rubbed it to relieve it of the pounding he felt before Looking up.
...And as soon as he did so, Naruto felt his jaw drop.
He was looking up at a girl whose entire presence screamed of unchallengeable authority and nobility. Her entire body was dressed in something that could be best described as a battle uniform that somewhat resembled Samurai armor and her dark hair was tied back with a red piece of metal, obviously made to look like a burning flame that reminded Naruto of a crown, only allowing two locks to frame her aristocratic face and her amber eyes seemed cold as ice.
What was most shocking, however, was her sheer size! 554 feet, 7 11⁄32 inches, from the look of things!
She was like some living monument!
Looking down, Naruto had to stifle a gasp. He was in her lap! Standing on her thighs as she sat down in what looked like a throne designed to look like a pillar of flame.
Where was this?! WHO was this?! What had happened to him?!
"Aaarrraaaghh! What happened to me?! I don't understand this at all!" Naruto cried, holding his head. Apparently, he was louder than he realized, because he was suddenly cast in a shadow and looked up and paled as he saw he had been spotted and made to run, but a feminine hand closed around him.
The girl whose lap he had been plucked from's full, red lips tugged into a smirk as she raised him to her face and examined him, turning him around tilting him forward and backwards like he was new toy she had received. She regarded Naruto like he was an especially interesting science specimen—one she couldn't wait to dissect.
"Well, well now...what do I have here?" she asked.
Naruto raised an eyebrow. Whoever this girl was, she wasn't speaking the language that people did in Konoha and the rest of the Elemental Nations, but somehow, he knew the language as if he had been speaking it his whole life. That spirit that dumped him here must have done something to him to make that the case.
The girl looked at him expectantly. Then suddenly frowned before her hand suddenly grew unnaturally warm and Naruto yelped as if he'd been burned. He looked up at the girl. How had she done that?!
"What was that for?!" he demanded, which probably wasn't smart, but he didn't like what had happened to him.
"Don't keep me waiting then." the girl said simply, as if explaining how one and one was two.
"Well excuse me, But you're...well...you're a lot to take in."
What does that mean?" she said narrowing her eyes as they blazed threateningly. Her grip tightened and Naruto cried out as she started to crush him.
"You're impressive." Naruto gasped out, which was pretty true, finding himself in her lap was pretty mind-blowing for him.
The girl instantly loosened her grasp and Naruto greedily sucked in air.
"Well now...that's perfectly understandable." the giantess said with a tone of smug satisfaction, "So I'm impressive and it left you shocked and gaping." she nodded as if this made perfect sense.
Sheesh...Naruto thought someone had an ego issue as the girl looked him over again.
"So who or what are you?" she said.
"My name's Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki. Shinobi of Konoha and future Hokage."
The girl blinked at that declaration, not having the slightest idea what a shinobi or a Hokage could possibly be, but decided to not ask anything about it at the moment.
"Well...to answer who Iam, I am Princess Azula, daughter of Fire Lord Ozai, and l plan to one day rule the grand and glorious Fire Nation as it's queen."
A princess, huh? Well...that explained the ego.
But what the heck was a "Fire Nation", some kind of spin off on the Land of Fire? And what was a "Fire Lord?" Naruto raised an eyebrow at the names. "You wouldn't happen to have a map, would you?" he asked.
In response, to the question, Azula turned him towards one wall where one hung up in a frame.
The blond shinobi looked over the map for a brief second, but what he saw caused his eyes to nearly bulge out of their sockets.
During his travels with Jiraiya, Naruto had often gotten stuck with the task of reading the map. It wasn't that the Toad Sage couldn't do it himself, on the contrary, he could practically find his way in the world as if it had been his own pocket, but he'd thought it would do his young apprentice good to learn how to properly orientate.
It had been tedious and just overall boring. But if there was one thing the blonde had managed to learn, then that was how the world looked like.
However, the map that he was currently holding in his hand didn't look remotely like anyone he had ever seen before.
Naruto looked at the map for a couple of more seconds before letting out a sigh of exasperation. "Alright. I just know I'm going to regret asking this, but what exactly does this map show? Because if it's a map of the world, then where the hell are all the Shinobi Nations?!" he said.
"What are you talking about? You're not making any sense," frowned Azula.
"I'm not making any sense? You're the one who isn't making any sense! You're talking about nations, lords of fire, and and now you expect me to believe that the world consists of just four nations?!"
"Look all I know is some spirit or something dumped me here." Naruto complained.
Azula looked at him. Well...that explained a lot. Who knew what spirits could do? So one had shrunk him, transported him here, and (apparently) taken his memory, far as she figured.
"Ok, whatever...do you know where you're from at least?" she asked.
Naruto raised an eyebrow, she was talking to him like he had amnesia, "I'm from Konoha. The village hidden in the leaves."
"Right... And that would be where, exactly?" The name didn't say her anything, but she was interested. Somewhere new to concur.
Naruto looked at her oddly for a second, blinking a couple of times. "In the Land of Fire, of course," he continued.
Azula looked at him a few times, blinked a little, then scowled. Lier! She didn't know of any place called that in the Fire Nation! But before she could call him out on it, she stopped...he'd said it was a hidden village. Of course she'd never have heard of it!
"Well...no need to worry about any trouble you'll have getting home any longer." she said absently.
At that Naruto brightened. Why not? Did this mean that she'd help him?!
"I don't?" he asked.
"Of course you don't, after all..." she suddenly tightened her grip, squeezing him again. "You. Are. Mine!"
