As if on impulse, her foot moved, landing in the mass of specks. It had happened before she'd even realized it, cracks ran out from the spot of impact, and the mass began to retreat, moving like a swarm of bugs.
What she'd done hit her at this, she'd killed people, lots of people. Her eyes widened further, it was quite a shock to take in. Ashley was about to try and apologize, before another realization hit, just how easy it was. It wasn't like they could do much to her, or that she needed to really apologize. They'd still be running.
Her eyes followed one crowd as they slowly surged down the thin road, moving around cars that lay abandoned on the road. She seemed to have caused quite a panic. A smile subconsciously spread across her face as she slowly removed her hand from the building she'd held, she wasn't exactly nervous anymore.
Thinking of the building, the twelve year-old turned her attention towards it, squinting in order to try and see through the windows. Lo and behold, she could see tiny people inside. Her smile widened into a semi-guilty smirk as she pushed her hand into the building once more, applying more force. The building fell rather easily, clouds of dust swirling around her feet as the rubble spread out. She could hear faint screams, which only further made her feel powerful.
With a shrug, she decided to stomp on the rubble, her foot sinking through it and onto the ground. The sinking felt rather nice, though as she turned her attention to the skies once more, she saw things, helicopters, planes. They were still tiny, but thoughts of the military crept into her mind. Could they hurt her? Did she want to find out?
