She had a lot or regrets; when Lynda was a kid, her strict parents never left her go to a party whit friends, nor to have a boyfriend or even wear a revealing dress. When she turned 20, she married an old man who married her, but he was even more controller than her father; her husband never let her out or have a friend, in top of that they'd barely had sex, after the first two kids (both girls) he said that he didn't want more babies and he didn't believe in any contraceptives, so she went along with it. At her 30 she found that her husband had an affair whit a young and slutty girl, he left after that.
But Lynda never got over it, instead she just sank in her sadness, showing a good face to her few acquaintances while she let herself die deep inside; she just let the time pass, dreaming of a new life, a life in which she was an ongoing teen, wearing miniskirts and high heels, a life in which a handsome young man fucked her hard, making her scream in pleasure... a life in which she was happy.
But now it was too late, she was no longer a teenager, she was an old grandma, lying still in a hospital bed, waiting for the dead to come for her. The only visit she had was her young granddaughter Erika, which would enter to her room in any second.
The door opened slowly, but the one who came wasn't her granddaughter but a guy in a white coat, he had the word WEIRD in all over his face, weird and broken glasses, brown messy hair and a rare grin in his smile.
-You're going to die - Lynda didn't knew what to answer, she knew already she had a few days before the dead came for her, what was the point in make her suffer?, yet her meek nature didn't allow her to point it.
-Tell me - Continued the Mad scientist - Do you want lo live? - Lynda eyes grow wide, of course she want lo live!, who doesn't?; yet the only answer she could make was to nod.
-Good - the man seemed relieved ins ome way - You see, I'd develop a machine that would let you live, even to have another chance, but the wretched doctors didn't want me to use it... You see, in order to use my device, you need a donor support, someone who you know, someone of your family; do you have someone like that?
Lynda nodded once again, she felt joy deep in her heart, she may have a second chance to start over again, someone had listened to her prayers, this was a dream come true!. -I..do.
-Great, I'll give you this, you can only use it once, so... don't miss. - The guy handed her a weird taser gun, whit a cable connected to a circlet. -You must put on that, and then fire it, easy, isn't it?
The guy left the room, leaving Lynda disappointed... "A toy... he give me a toy.... and I believed in him... but what if not?, what if he was for real?" she had nothing to lose (or so she thought), she put on the circlet, and when Erika step on the room to greet her grandma, she fired it against her.
