Hey Lisa." The real Wendy said with a nervous grin. Lisa found it weird to see herself standing over there. "I'm happy you woke up, I told the doctors my mom sometimes complains I'm too lazy.
"OMG, It really is you, Wendy." Lisa said walking closer to her.
"I am and I'm so sorry about this Lisa. I just wanted to feel like what it is to be one of the popular girls around and have a great time. I didn't think this would happen to us." Wendy said as she held out her dainty hands to look at them.
"I didn't expect this either." Lisa said turning a light shade of red.
Emma noticed the awkward moment between the two teens. "Let's sit down for now, shall we?" She asked. As Lisa and Wendy sat down she noticed the differences between the two girls. While Lisa sat down on her chair keeping her back up against the chair, Wendy began to slouch a little. So far the transfer didn't seem to have switched all things...yet. "We're glad the both of you are okay. We were a little worried that you took longer to wake up then Wendy, but perhaps she was right and is it her sleeping habit. We're looking into it now."
"You can fix us, right?" Lisa asked as she moved her tongue against her braces she now had.
Emma puts her glasses off as she grabbed a piece of cloth from her pocket. "To tell you the truth girls, this is the first time this has happened here. Our engineers and sorcerers are still figuring out how it happened and how to reverse it.
"But what to do now" Wendy asked looking at Emma almost crying. Emma could see Wendy was a shy girl who wasn't strong.
"For the moment we don't plan to do anything with you two. I understand that this is more of an exchange than you had signed up for, but in effect, you'll both have no difficulty fully living each other's lives for the next two weeks."
"How about me?" Lisa asked as she pointed at Wendy's overweight body. "I didn't sign up for this.. I mean it's cool to be bigger, but... what if we can't change back?
Lisa, I understand where you're coming from," Emma said gently. "But look at it this way. You're also getting an upgraded experience. And, since we understand that this is a bit more, um, intense than what you signed up for, The Nexus is willing to match Wendy's rental fee, dollar for dollar while you're in her body."
"Well, I guess that's okay," Lisa said, still very unsure about where things were going. "And in two weeks, you'll be able to swap us back?"
"That's the idea," Emma said. "We'll need you to both take some tests today, and for the next two weeks, we'll be following up with each of you regularly. Once Wendy's back from your vacation in Mexico, we'll work on getting you two swapped back. Who knows... if we can replicate this, you may be the first of our clients to offer a whole new level of service," she said getting excited. "And believe me, we'd pay you for that, very well."
"Okay, I guess so.," Wendy said, standing up slowly as she stretched herself feeling a little loss.
Lisa saw Wendy noticed this and stood up from her chair and hugged Wendy. "It will be alright Wendy. This will all work out, you'll see. And besides you get to stay inside my body, isn't that what you always wanted?" Lisa asked Wendy.
"Yes, I suppose." Wendy said looking away from Lisa.
"Then cheer up, we have to make the best of our times. So enjoy your time and I will do my best to enjoy mine as well." Lisa said with a wide smile.
"Excellent," Emma said as she stood. "In that case, if you'll each follow me, I'll show you to the exam rooms where we have a few tests to run before you each go home."
