The first one was Sandra Burke, a 20 year old gymnast who was badly burned in a car crash a couple months ago. She was on her way to making it into the Olympics before she suffered burns on nearly 60 percent of her body. She's healing slowly, but she is not likely to be able to return to gymnastics for many years.
The second one was Melinda Rogers, a 36 year old mother of 3 that is battling ovarian and breast cancer. Melinda worked as a weather meteorologist for a local news station before her cancer began making her too ill to work. Her husband, Michael died a few years back leaving her to raise her children alone. With a new lease on life, she could try to find a way to keep a roof over her former children's' heads.
The third one was Alison Schultz, a 29 year old nurse that became paralyzed from the waist down after a skiing accident on vacation. Being confined to a wheelchair has made it difficult to effectively treat patients at the hospital where she works. With a new life, she could become a great nurse again and possibly save more lives.
Lisa thought that all these women could make a great Lisa Hale. She thought about which one she should trade lives with. Lisa spent a few minutes going through the profiles before deciding...
