As she got up, Kirsten veiled a grimace on her face as a pang of pain came from her knee. It was the result of a mast spill she had taken on Mt. Kilimanjaro. At her age, she was taking notice of her lengthening recovery time. This was one of the many reasons that she was seeking out a body that could undertake the adventures she loved. Just like renting a car, she needed a body designed for her vacation. "Right here, Ms. Larsen", Tina said, snapping Kirsten out of her head and leading her into a room resembling a place that a doctor would see a patient.
Kirsten's flats cracked as she entered the room. Even without heels, she was a very tall woman sporting a lean, sleek frame. Her black slacks swished with every step that she took, that tail of her black jacket trailing a bit behind her white blouse. Her long hair was a couple shades darker than blonde, making it more of a gold. As she sat down, her hazel eyes observed Tina pulling up a number of files on the computer adjacent to her seat. Kirsten certainly looked her age, but rather than looking old and dumpy, time a weathered her features into a mature profile that simultaneously conveyed curiosity and understanding. However, she still retained a reckless smile when spotting something exciting.
"So, we've narrowed the pool down to two candidates who most closely matched your request", Tina reported.
"Oh?", Kirsten asked, amused.
"The first is Yu Yan Xia", Tina continued, pulling up a picture of a petite Asian woman in a leotard. She look very young, had a round, porcelain face and shorter black hair. "She is 18 years old, five feet tall and weighs 100lbs. Yu Yan was an Olympic Gymnast for the People's Republic of China, meaning that after the procedure, you would have her knowledge in that field. With a smaller body, you would need less food, oxygen and water. You would also gain her expert agility and balance".
Kirsten scratched her chin, "Interesting. You said she's from China, though. Would I lose my ability to speak English by switching with her?".
Tina shook her head, " Not necessarily. If you request, we can leave your linguistic skills unchanged". Tina then proceeded to pull up another profile, "The next candidate is Athena Parker". The next picture was of a black woman in shorts and a track jersey. She had long, black hair, coffee colored skin and full lips. Her quads and glutes were large and thick. "Athena is 25 years old, 5'8 and weighs 140 lbs. She's a former sprinter but still keeps her body in top shape. Athena would be the better option if you're looking to max out your speed and endurance".
