What trouble can a human get into while working at a newspaper for giant monsters?
This choice: Lexi and Aurelia starts trashing you further  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

Well that Backfired

    by: Unknown
Unfortunately for you, standing up to the boss doesn't always end well, especially since your boss is a sphinx more than 150 times bigger than you, and you just pissed her off. "Well," says Lexi as she grits her teeth. "If you're going to be nasty about it, you'll be working with Aurelia exclusively for the next month making repairs. And she is free to eat you at any time. Anyone who tries to interfere with this arrangement will be fired, and that includes your girlfriend."

You gulp and step back in fear. You just wanted Lexi to show you more respect, but instead you were in even more hot water than ever. You were going to be the slave to a monster that wants to eat you for a month. Before you can say anything Aurelia snatches you up and brings you to her face. You take one look at her red blind eye and her smiling fangs dripping with drool and are scared to death. "Tough luck snack sized. But don't worry. I might not eat you, today." The werejackal giantess lets out an evil laugh that makes your blood run cold. Aurelia's mate Cree would be impressed. You guess when you're married to a werehyena you pick up their more obnoxious habits.

Aurelia leaves Lexi's office and Lexi cracks a sinister grin as Aurelia places you in her toolbox and walks away. Inside all the screws are jumping about and you have to duck to avoid getting crushed or impaled by the jackal's tools. What exactly does Aurelia have planned for you?

You have the following choices:

1. Helping her repair a copy machine

*Noteb*
2. Helping her make repairs in the garage

3. She saves you in her toolbox for lunch

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
