Eric and joe quickly dragged you across the farm carefull to avoid the farmhands or any of the other groups they made there way over to the large stable were the horses were kept and there you were thrown roughly to the ground.

"Alex lets have a talk about why you should not piss me off better yet just hand over the money and i wont hit you again".

Struggling to your feet you stand in front of Eric and summon all your courage to look him in the eye.

"Its my money...and if y....

Erics fist hits you hard once again this time breaking your nose and send blood dripping on to the floor a second punch to your stomach puts you on your knees your vision going fuzzy from the pain but Eric only smiles cruely at you as the tears wet your cheeks...and then you hear a strong female voice cry out in anger.

"Nasty little colts have a taste of your own medicine".

You hear the sound of hooves against the stable floor and the shrill whine of a horse followed swiftly by Eric and Joe screaming in fear as you look up you see a very big and powerfully built mare with a white and black coat and a white mane and tail rearing up on her back legs and giving both boys the fright of there lives before they run screaming from the stables.

You are left shivering in fear as the large mare turns towards you and you flinch as she lowers her head towards you as you close your eyes and whimper with both fear and pain you feel the mares soft nose brush your head as she nuzzles you.

"hush know little one i mean you no harm".

At the sound of the mares soft and maternal voice you look up at her and for a momment you are stunned into silence while she continues to nuzzle before you hear her speak again.

"hush know those nasty colts are gone its just you and me and i dont want to hurt you".

You stare at the mare for a few more minutes before finaly finding your small timid voice.

"I can understand you...can you understand me".

The mare stops nuzzling you a pulls her head back to get a better look at you her deep brown eyes are warm and soft and they seem to be searching for something after several seconds she speaks once more.

"Well this is a suprise a human with the gift of tounges no doubt mother nature is playing games again".

You struggle to your feet but find it hard to balance due to the shock and pain your in as you wobble on your feet the mare shifts her body allowing you to rest against her soft and warm side.

"Easy child dont force yourself just rest for a momment...If i may ask little one what is your name".

You press yourself against her and breath in her sweat and warm scent before answering weakly she gives you another soft nuzzle before answering.

"Its nice to meet you Alex my name is Lucy".

You try to steady yourself once more but you fail and once again you find yourself resting against Lucys soft side.

"Normaly i would not invite a human i just met into my stable...but you could use a rest and a snuggle".

Giving you no time to protest Lucy gentle nuges you towards an open stable door upon entering you see....
