Spencer was up late at night trying to finish a sculpture that had been specially requested to make, the last thing he needed to do was make sure the electronic half was operational.
The young aspiring artist always found that work on a sculpture seemed to help relieve stress, and after today this was exactly what he needed.
First he ripped his favorite pair of socks that his buddy Socko gave him, completely ruining them to the point that they did even function properly.
Then Carly got mad at him for denying her the right to go to the Cuttlefish concert on Saturday, only because she got a bad grade in one of her class and he thought she should study.
After that she stormed off angry at him to the Groovy Smoothie with with her best friend Sam Puckett, not talking to him at all later on in the night when she returned.
Lastly to end his day Spencer spent a majority of the day dealing with the very sculpture he was working on now, which while stressful itself was the only thing keeping him sain.
He had almost completed wiring the mechanisms to do exactly what he wanted them to do, but unfortunately for Spencer his horrible luck with electronics was about to get him into a world or trouble.
A sudden electrical shock ran up his arms starting from the tips of his fingers, coursing through his body completely.
He couldn’t quite describe what was happening but it was definitely weird, he had been shocked hundreds of times and never before had he felt like this.
It was as if an electrical wave had passed right through his heart, it made him feel weak as he exited the room and tried to get help.
His vision was one of the first things that faded as he began to pass out, everything in his path was a blur causing him to use his hand to identify where he was.
The next thing to go was Spencer’s muscle control functions, his arms suddenly knocking stuff over unwillingly thanks to several spasms that occurred in the next few moments.
Not only that but the walk into the living room seemed to be taking longer than it normally did from his room, as if everything was further away than it was normally.
Soon Spencer found himself tripping over an object on the floor, falling face first onto something soft which he couldn’t identify without his senses of sight and smell.
When Spencer woke up he realized that he had shrunken overnight, the whole apartment was enormous to the minuscule artist.
Although being one inch tall hardly seemed to be his main concern as he felt small quakes approaching his location, most likely the footsteps of a normal sized person.
He knew it was most likely either Carly or Sam who probably spent the night with Carly, but that wasn’t his only problem as he came to realize where he had fallen asleep.
There was no mistaking that he had slept_____________, realizing he must have been shrinking while he navigated his way through the apartment.
1. On the couch, in the exact spot Carly like to watch TV in the morning and it’s nearly time for her show.
2. Inside Sam’s Converse sneaker, just as the Tomboyish blonde came over her footwear.
3. On the carpet in front of four bare-feet, looking up to see Carly and Sam looking down at him in their pajamas.
