Melisa Harris was a fifty year old woman living in the suburban planet of Suburbiania. However one wouldn't know her age thanks to modern medicine making her look like she was in her late twenties or early thirties. The only sign of her age would be her wide hips that she got from having triplets twenty-eight years ago. As Melisa was looking in the mirror, she examined the shape of her hips, and remembered the excruciating pain that was childbirth that she went through three times in a row. The near traumatizing ordeal was immediately followed up with the joy of holding her three newborn baby children, two boys and one girl. She only wished her former husband had stayed around to see them. Even though he ran off with their savings to who knows where, she still felt that her children were owed at least a glimpse of their father's face. Still though, that moment twenty-eight years ago was the happiest in her long life, and her round hips were a reminder of that. She looked down at her chest. She had taken off her top leaving her in a special bra made for people with three breasts. She had the third one implanted so that should could breastfeed all her triplets at the same time. She also had them enlarged at the same time so that they were all FF cup size. She was already getting an extra, she might as well make them bigger at the same time. She held her arms up the same way she did when she held her babies during feeding time, and imagined all their peaceful faces in their usual places. Melisa looked around her, taking in the living room. She moved to Suburbiania during her pregnancy, wishing for a larger house to give her kids plenty of space. She took out a large loan which she needed to work two jobs to pay off. But it paid off, she loved her home and the kids used every inch of the house and the yard to play. However when they were old enough to go to school, they only used the extra space at night. And when they were teenagers, they spent their nights in their rooms or at their friends' houses. The house felt progressively more empty as they grew older. Melisa heard the exhaust of the moving truck outside. her two sons had moved to college, and had all but stopped texting her, too busy with their new lives, leaving the middle-aged woman with only her daughter, who had turned to online streaming after flunking college. However, despite Melisa's skepticism, the young girl made a good career online, enough so that she could finally moved out. Before she moved, the daughter promised to keep in contact with her mom, but Melisa secretly knew the truth. Nonetheless, she was just as proud of her daughter as she was of her sons for become independent and successful.
She saw the moving truck drive outside the view offered by the window, the last remnant of Melisa's last child gone forever. Melisa looked around the living room again, which would never have little feet or childish laughs fill the quietness. Her breasts would never feel another baby suck on it, and the children that she brought to this world were gone forever, leaving her alone in the house she bought just for them. Melisa broke down in tears on the couch, and eventually cried herself to sleep.

When Melisa woke up, it was night time. She was immediately greeted by the sight of her three breasts, and she instinctively thought about her kids again, Melisa pushed through the emotions and reached into the middle cup of her bra and pulled her phone out of it. As expected, yet still disappointedly, there were no new messages, not even from her daughter who promised to text her once at her new apartment. Melisa laid her head on the couch arm to try to relax. But everything in the room reminded her of her kids. Even her own body reminded her of them. She could tell that this type of thinking wasn't good for her. She didn't want to just forget her kids, but she needed something to take her mind off of them. What to do? she thought.
