Rena gave a smirk. "You know," she said. "I think I'll start with the easiest one just to humor those beasts. The zombie should be the easiest one to kill, after all, he's already dead." Rena decided to head off to the village where the Malabestia zombie was spreading his plague as she waved her backside.
The Malabestia zombie resembled a decayed Cryptkeeper-style corpse, except with purple veins over his body and wavy light purple-blond hair. The zombie was groaning as he leaked out toxic purple slime from his mouth. The zombie coughed as his jaw dropped into the river nearby Crystal Lake Village. The zombie fished out and put his jaw back in right after it leaked out a foul smelling black ooze that turned the water a purplish color. A few birds drank the tainted water, causing them to mutate into skeletal forms that moaned out and decayed. The zombie walked into the deep water as more animals started to drink the tainted slime.
Rena had arrived near the village and was holding up the feather that had been given to her by the magic council. It pointed to Crystal Lake village and begun to glow. "Aha," said Rena. "So that's where the zombie has been hiding. Well, he'll have to return to his grave soon enough."
Rena walked closer to the village and saw that the village houses were covered in a thick moss and that there were toxic purple clouds flying above the village. Rena looked around and there were corpses everywhere, apparently having succumbed to the plague brought on by Zombie. Some corpses even looked like they died in the middle of their work since one corpse had been carrying a hoe.
Rena begun to cough and she took out her magic scarf to cover her mouth in order to protect herself from the poisons in the air. She bent over and saw a young girl corpse holding a doll and as Rena shook her head, she had to rub her eyes because she thought that she saw the corpse's hand moving.
Suddenly, Rena heard a loud snort and then she turned her head around to see that a zombified bull was running forward. Apparently not all corpses had completely stopped moving. Rena held out the Sword of Souls and swung it just as the zombie bull came at her. The sword took off the bull's horns but the bull ran past Rena and was coming back.
"Okay," said Rena as she held out her sword. "Time for a spell."
