You as the oddly named child from the town of Smashville, Villager. You were currently heading over to the garden to plant a new sapling before you had to go train with the other newcomers. Unfortunately, there happened to be a small parcel in the hallway which you tripped over, dropping the sapling. You frown when you see the pot you were carrying the sapling in has smashed. Looks like planting will have to wait. You put the sapling in your pocket to prevent further harm, and take a look at the package you tripped over.
Inside there is a strange looking TV remote and an instruction manual that no doubt explains how to use it. You read the manual on your way over to the Boxing Ring stage whether you and the other newcomers were going to train. The remote could apparently alter reality in interesting ways, and you'd be the only one who knew, unless you changed the setting. This struck you as a great opportunity. You didn't want to mess with your friends too much, but you really did want to try some things out. You could always swap things back if things get a little crazy.
When you make it to the stage, you see that most of the other newcomers are already there, but you're certainly not late. You had wanted to try out the remote, but you didn't run into anyone on the way here, so now seemed like the perfect opportunity to you. Since you were a boy, you wanted to try something interesting by switching with one of the girls. Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Greninja would have also been interesting, but they didn't seem to be here yet (Although Greninja could very well just be hiding in the shadows).
You weighed up your options. Wii Fit Trainer, or Fit as you called her, was a very good friend to you. You were both newcomers in the tournament, and everyone seemed to underestimate you. By sticking together, you eventually got everyone to realise that you were just as worthy a fighter as the other competitors in the tournament. Rosalina, the princess from outer space, was a very kind, motherly person. You personally thought she was very pretty. Palutena, the goddess who seemed to taunt Pit a lot, was the most recent newcomer. If you managed to get some of her powers, you were sure no one would ever underestimate you again.
