"Go in there and herd your goat out yourself" Pugna bend down to ground. Level and widely open his mouth. He send out smelly gas and a lot of glib of saliva on to the poor farmer. Force Derrick to fall back a shot distance. And blow his house to nothingness. Derrick stand up and tries too clean up a sticky saliva.

"Come on, this is your choice . You want your goat and I want some meat. If you can find the way out in time, you got everything back. But if you fail, I take everything include you life."

First thing that came in his mind is running away and see some help. He should call the army to deal with this colossus guy. Maybe they have enough luck to take him down. But what will happen to his goat. They are must digested when he's returned.
So there is no way to save them expect one way. He must walk down to the belly of the beast.
