Chapter #5

The Downsides of Feeding a Colossus

    by: Unknown
You gape in horror at the kitchen before you. It is in ruins, with entire walls beside and in front of you being completely destroyed. You can tell from the intense sunlight above that the roof has also been discarded. Suddenly, you feel the vibrations of the ground trembling below your feet.
Earthquake?
Impossible, since you lived nowhere near the fault lines.
The tremblings (which were actually more like giant footsteps) grow louder and louder until two deafning booms are heard to the right and left of your trembling body. You open your eyes.
The first thing you see is an immense black and orange leg, as thick and tall as any big tree. A sharp but sonorous sound suddenly deafens your ears, at which point you look up, way, way up, at the muzzle and eyes of Hugo, now a colossal monstrosity of a canine. His snout was dripping blood, and it smelled fresh.

"Holy shit, Hugo," you exclaim, transfixed by the sight of your dog's immense size, "you've really grown! I-I'm half-believing this, but..." You stop as you notice the blood on his muzzle.
"Hugo," you ask, "what have you been eating, boy?"
As always, the dog provided no human-like answer. But he did bark again and wag his giant tail in response. "I-I'm gonna' look downstairs," you say, still reeling from the effects of hearing two ear-splitting barks from a colossal dog. You feel nauseous as you walk downstairs, almost to the point of vomiting. Ignoring the taste of throw-up, you search for the dog food bag, hoping it would turn up somewhere.
It didn't.
You storm back towards Hugo, who has a guilty look in his eyes. Before you attempt to pipe up, you know that Hugo had obviously ate the whole bag clean. He always gave you that look whenever he did something you weren't a huge fan of.
You drop your arms in submission. "Fine."

But then, you had an idea. "Hugo," you said, full of excitement and joy...

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. "Let's go hunting, boy!"

*Noteb*
2. "want to go ta' Fenton's barn?"

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
