Just how on Earth did humans come to preside over anthros in the first place? After all, anthros range anywhere from 5 to 50 times taller than the average human, so you think they’d be the ones in control. It’s a good question - one anthropologists have been debating for centuries. Just the fact that humans still exist at all is a miracle. There were plenty of other intelligent species that were around human size, but they all went extinct long ago, devoured by the massive anthros. So why did the human race survive? Well, it’s simple - they’re not very tasty.
So how did humans manage to not only befriend anthros, but rule over them? Knowing humans, you might assume that the answer was through warfare - that they might’ve dominated the anthros using explosives and fire. In reality, though, humans came to become the dominant species through diplomacy! You see, anthros have BIG appetites, and humans were the only species to master agriculture, allowing them to grow enough crops to keep the anthros well-fed. Once anthros are well-fed, they’re docile, so the anthros quickly allowed themselves to be tamed.
Or, at least, that’s what this textbook you’re reading says. Living deep in the labyrinthian alleyways of New Fluff, reading was one of your only hobbies, and you always enjoyed pouring through the books your feline companions brought for you, in exchange for your ‘services’...
But, perhaps I’m getting ahead of myself…
Allow me to explain. Have you ever heard of a ‘feral child’? Someone who’s taken in and raised by animals, instead of humans? Well, you’re sort of one of those. When you were born you were abandoned by your mother, left to - you shudder to think- die in an alleyway in the rain. Luckily, one of the local alleycats just so happened to hear you crying… and ended up bringing you to a community of cats just like her. They were all ‘strays’ - anthros who have been abandoned by their owners’ - and thus, they sympathized with your plight.
Ever since then, these alleyways have been your home, and the local strays have been raising you like one of their own. They’ve given you the human name of ‘Joseph’, although you also go by a nickname, ‘Catnip’. You don’t really speak to your fellow humans much, preferring the company of your feline companions… speaking of which, from the massive footsteps growing louder, you can tell one of them is approaching!
“Good mornin’, Catnip!” The lid of the little cardboard box you were resting in was pulled over, and a massive, smiling, feline face loomed over you. You chuckled as you started up into her massive, excitable, golden feline eyes. You’d recognize those eyes anywhere.
“Morning, Vivian!” You waved, only to giggle a bit, startled, when she reaches into the box and grabs you by the shirt collar, lifting you up in the air. Vivian was an egyptian mau, with beautiful white fur with light gray patterns. Like the other strays, she was, of course, completely naked, although her long, silk-like fur lent her some modesty. Like the other cats, she was about 50 feet tall, meaning she could easily carry you in the palm of her hand. “What’s with the rush?”
“Oh, I don’t need ya for anything, myself! One of the other cats jus’ wanted me to come fetch ya,” she giggled as she walked, carefully holding you in her hand. A sultry, teasing look dawned on her face as she continued. “She said it was an ‘emergency’.” You smile a bit, excited. An ‘emergency’... you know what that means!
You see, one of the other ways in which humans befriended anthros was by showing their usefulness as, well… ‘toys’. After all, humans are small enough to fit into all sorts of nooks and crannies, and the resulting sensations can be mind blowing, or so you’ve been told. Well, recently, in exchange for all of the hard work they’ve done for you, you’ve started offering these sorts of… ‘services’ to the alley cats you live with. Yeah… let’s just say you’ve come to know all of them on a very deep, intimate level.
Vivian was probably your favorite. She was always so gentle, always listening to what you had to say and trying to make it fun for you.
Then, there was Bianca and Serena - a maine coon and a norwegian forest cat, respectively, who were madly in love with eachother, and often asked for your help ‘spicing up’ their sex life.
Then, there was Jeanette, who was a little… rough around the edges. She was the domineering type, being a little forceful and loving to squeeze down around you, trying to show you who’s in charge. Though, deep down, you knew she had a softer side.
Then there was Fleur, a chausie with beautiful dyed fur. She rarely requested your help, considering she already knew plenty of anthros boys around town who were all eager to satisfy her every desire. But, when you’re lucky, she’s occasionally in the mood to toy with a human. In those times, you’re always blown away by just how… hypnotic and seductive she is.
Last but not least, there was Rosalind, a savannah cat who was, apparently, abused by her previous owner, and doesn’t seem to trust humans. Thus, she only requests your help when she’s in heat, and even in those times, you have to be very careful and gentle with her. You honestly feel sorry for her, sometimes…
Regardless, as Vivian navigates the winding alleyways, you soon see who you’ll be serving today!
