This choice: A Lamp that summons Jirachi? • Go Back...Chapter #4Waterpark Jirachi? by: RedAce   Ash, Iris, and Cilan were traveling through the region of Unova. Things were pretty much average as the gang was traveling to their next destination. However, Iris was getting a little board with all the same old, same old, feeling. As nothing had been happening for a while now and heck! Not even a show up from Team Rocket! So things have been pretty bland to say the least.
But soon our heroes arrived at an odd location in Unova, it was a super massive water and theme park! Iris's eyes quickly became delighted and she ran down the hill. Ash was a little confused, but Cilan explained that he had heard about a water/theme park opening up just recently around theses parts. Ash became super delighted and rushed down the hill behind Iris. Cilan chuckled and decided to follow suit, though he didn't run like the other two did.
As they reached the park, the ticket booth clerk asked for how many and gave them three tickets as they answered three. All three rushed inside and boy was it packed and there was just so much of everything everywhere! From huge slides, massive coasters, you name it! Iris was so excited as she didn't know which one she wanted to try as Ash was doing the same and Iris then made the comment, "Ash your such a kid..."
Ash frowned slightly at that, but that didn't stomp out his enthusiasm. Everyone picked there own ride, with Ash and Iris going to the same one. Though they needed to change first and they did. Ash wore some blue trunks with black and yellow strikes on the sides, Iris wore a purple one-piece swimsuit with some flower décors all over it, and Cilan wore a green trunk shorts with a single white strike across one side.
But as Ash and Iris went on to one of the bigger rides, the attendant stopped Iris, "I'm sorry little one, you can't enter this ride..."
"What for?" Iris asked.
"For one you look too young and secondly, you are just under the height requirement... so it's no go on this ride for you."
"I guess you are the kid really Iris." Cilan mentioned.
Iris grew upset and walked up with anger. Though Cilan was just teasing her about how she is always calling Ash a kid. Iris walked to the deep end of the park and seemed a bit bummed out. As that was one of the rides she really wanted to try first. So she sat on a bench and tried to calm down enough and think of what ride she could try. That was when she noticed something sitting in between a small spacing in the wall. She stepped up to it and pulled it out. It appeared that when they built this place, this thing was built into it. Iris explained this oddly shaped gold item with a blue sapphire in the center.
She glided her fingers lightly across the gem as it suddenly grew bright and shot a beam of light into the air and then something fell near a bush beside the bench. Iris was startled by this and didn't know what she had just done. But then suddenly a odd Pokemon floated softly out of the bushes and it yawned.
Iris walked up to it and asked if it was a Pokemon and to her surprise it talked! As it spoke to her and told her it was.
"Wha-wait, you can talk! But Pokemon can't talk!" Iris cried out in confusion.
"I actual can't talk, but I am speaking to you telepathically. So what is the wish you like for me, Jirachi to grant?" Jirachi asked in a soft tone.
Iris paused and then realized what this Pokemon just asked, "Wait you can grant me wishes?!" Iris asked.
The Legendary Pokemon nodded, but added it could only grant one. Iris dropped her shoulders as she was hoping for one of those times when you get three wishes and what not, but a real wish is a wish after all she thought.
"So you can really grant me a wish right?" Iris asked.
Jirachi nodded, "Yes, just one however and then I go back to sleep."
Iris paused, "Okay, so just one... but what?" she thought.
Then a quick thought came to mind, "Oh wait! I know what I would like to wish for! Jirachi I wish to be taller!" Iris wished.
Jirachi paused, "Oh, okay... well are you sure?"
Iris nodded, "YES, just please grant me my wish to be taller. Then I can really show everyone who are the kids." Iris giggled.
Jirachi shrugged, "Okay then... well you wish is granted and good night." Jirachi said just before yawning.
A beam of light appeared and the legendary Pokemon disappeared once again. Iris smiled, but quickly frowned. "Hey! Why am I still the same height?!" Iris said while checking herself. She buffed her cheeks and grew really upset.
"I can't believe I was tricked! I mean even if I grew just an inch would have been great..." Iris said to herself.
But there was nothing she could do and she decided to walk to a nearby concession. But while she did this, she was slowly starting to change? Though unknown to Iris, she should have worded her wish a LOT better. But she was going to find that out quite soon enough.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
