It was your first day of your new job working at the Mystery Shack, and you had thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. Although you didn't really connect that much with Stan, his nephew and niece, Mabel and Dipper, were extremely kind to you, and Soos was really entertaining. However, most of all, you connected with Wendy; she matched your energy really well, and you just became really good friends.
A few days later, you're on the clock with Wendy, and the two of you are chatting for a while. She checks her watch.
"Everything okay?" you ask her.
"Just waiting for my boyfriend to come and pick me up," she says, shrugging. "He was supposed to be here ages ago."
As if on cue, a tall boy in a hoodie and skinny jeans walked into the shack, and Wendy's face lit up.
"Robbie!" she cried. They hugged each other, but Robbie stared at you, well, more glared, in all honesty. You stared back in confusion, but eventually he directed his attention away from you and towards Wendy.
"Hey, Wendy," he says nonchalantly. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah, I've been ready for a while," she says. "What took so long?"
"Oh, that," Robbie stutters. "Something came up last minute. I'm sorry, I tried to get here as soon as I could."
"Oh, whatever," Wendy replies, making for the exit, only to see Robbie not coming. "Are you coming?"
"In a bit," he replies. "I just gotta use the bathroom quick. You go wait for me." She nods, and waves to you before going to Robbie's car. Robbie walks towards you.
"Hey man," you say, extending your hand. "It's nice to meet you." Robbie ignores your attempts at congeniality and instead grabs the collar of your shirt. He pulls your face close to his.
"Stay away from Wendy," he hisses in your face, spitting on you at the same time, causing you to flinch. "I'm warning you, you don't want to piss me off." With that, he throws you on the floor and walks out of the shack, before going to his car and driving away with Wendy. You sit in shock for a moment, and wonder whether or not you should take his warning seriously.
