Unable to bear the thought of being ignored you...

Deciding that granting a few miracles would be a good way to increase your rep, opening your mind to the prayers of those in need, searching for those who, in your opinion, are the most deserving of your aid. What you find shocks you. You knew the world was in bad shape, but you'd never realized just how bad it was, literally millions, if not billions of people suffering and dying needlessly every day. It would have totally overwhelmed the mind of any normal individual, but you weren't normal, not anymore, whatever Alkazar had done to you having increased your mental capacity immensely. Still, even though you were capable of processing all those prayers at once, granting them all at once would tax even as vast as yours now was to the absolute limit, not to mention the power requirements, as while you aren't yet sure what your limits are now that you're god, or rather possess godlike abilities, you are capable of determining that you still have them, and solving all of the worlds problems at once may well exceed them. Or not, but even if you were capable of taking care of everything all in one go, that seemed like a fairly boring way to go, as what would you do for entertainment afterwards? Instead, you decide to start small and work you way up slowly to bigger miracles, only anouncing your presence to the world at large after you feel that you've firmly established a bit of a reputation. Figuring there was no better place to start than your home town you teleported yourself to_______________________________?
