This choice: The mists clear showing Samantha. • Go Back...Chapter #5The mists clear showing Samantha. by: Unknown It doesn't take long for the mist to clear from in front of the camera. The camera man is quick to react and picks up his camera once more and starts too survey the damage, only to find the containment wall completely destroyed by the shock wave, giving a cleat view of the device. The camera zooms in to the small sphere showing the words 'Eric Johnson' quite clearly. It also reveals that the device is still active and is spewing endless amounts of gas into the atmosphere. It also seems to be surrounded by several clusters of green goo, though there is no connection to the device so the source of it remains unknown.
The camera then zooms back out and starts scanning the edges of the destroyed fence as if the cameraman is looking for something. That is when Daniel remembers the TV is on mute so he turns the volume back on. Suddenly the TV emits also sorts of sounds, from screaming, the sirens and most loud of all the continued hissing of the device.
"Where are you?", the cameraman yells confirming that the Johnson's missed out on something earlier.
"Over here", Samantha yells out. The camera then focuses back on Samantha or at least her head
"Oh my god...." Your family say in unison as you all see the body-less reporter for the first time.
"Talk to me Simon, what's happening and why can't I move?"
"I don't... I can't...", Simon stumbles out. "You have no body..."
"That's Impossible", Samantha says in denial. The camera then walks over to Samantha's head and you see his hand reach down to pick up Samantha by the hair.
"Look...", he tells her, holding her up so she can see her reflection and also to show the world
"No.. that can't be... I'm still alive, I'm not in pain...", she says to the camera before her hair grows, lowering her head back to the ground. The cameraman shocked by the further activity lets go of her hair, takes a step back and reveals her hair has grown by 4 or 5 feet at least. "Where's my body, Simon... go find my body...", she continues to say in shock.
"I think I found it miss", the commander's voice says off camera. "Or at least it found me..."
The camera the pans right to see when has become of the commander and to everyone's shock, he has four arms, breasts and a vagina all clearly showing. It is upon further inspection that his chest is resting on top of where Samantha's head should be so the top 2 arms head and neck are he's while the rest of the body is Samantha's. "How...?", Samantha asks horrified to see someone not only attached to her body but that is was completely naked.
"What the fence fell, I landed on top of you causing the your head to go flying and somehow your body merged with mine", he explains to her. "He then sees that the cameraman is still recording. "Turn that thing off... I can't let anyone see me like this". The commander the starts to fight the cameraman but due to his current form he fails and falls back onto Samantha, squishing her green goo. That is when the Johnson's realize all that goo they saw before were the workers who were examining the device.
The commander looked shocked to that he had just squashed the reported with her bare behind, though quickly realizes she isn't dead when her hair wraps itself around the body, cocooning it before squishing it, leaving one large pile of goo and the extremely long hair. The camera man watches as the goo fights back and forth trying to separate and even form limbs, but to no affect. Desperate the hair then strikes out like a snake at the cameraman and pulls him into the pile as well squishing him down to goo. With enough material one blob manages to break free and reform, though too it's surprise it becomes a two headed Samantha with both heads splitting the hair equally, while the second blob only manages to become the upper torso and head of Samantha.
"What the hell", the Samantha on the ground exclaims.
"Good question", the Samantha head on the right says.
"All I wanted was my body back", the left Samantha answers.
Angry the torso Samantha jumps back up attacking the two headed Samantha, until they are all one big blob again. This continues for several attempts in front of the camera until the feed is finally cut with the emergency broadcast channel.
"I was wondering why they didn't cut the feed when the explosion hit, they must've evacuated the news room and had no one monitoring the feed", Daniel says.
"I'll say, no news program could get away with that much nudity without being sued", Cynthia agrees.
"Um guys I think there are more important things to discuss than nudity, like the giant slime monsters", Stephanie states.
"I'll say, that shit was hot, though it could've gone without the army guy on the reporter ladies body", Randall points out.
"I was being serious", Stephanie stops her foot on the ground.
"So was I", Randall replies with a smile.
"Um guys...", Rachael interrupts from near the window, apparently she had stopped watching the news a while ago and was hanging out in the kitchen. "Has the sky always been that green?"
Eric and the others run over to the window to see what Rachael was talking about and sure enough the naturally blue sky was losing a war against the encroaching green.
"Alright guys...", Daniel says trying to keep his family calm....   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
