He'd never expected the boy to actually refuse the wish, to simply brush him off like a common mortal merchant peddling his wares, too busy and too disinterested to bother to devote so much as a single second of his time and energy to a being greater than his feeble human mind could possibly comprehend, even when what he was being offered was nothing less than a chance to alter the destiny of his entire race! It made Alkazar angry, and an angry Alkazar was a dangerous one, not just to the person who his anger was directed against, but for every being in the same star system as well! Fortunately for the human race, Alkazar had long ago learned to control his rage, and as such, managed to restrain himself from smashing the Earth to pieces thereby extinguishing all life on the planet. Instead, after taking a moment to calm himself, he decided that he would still receive his entertainment from the boy Eric, but not through the use of a wish, oh no. Instead, the mighty being decided to bestow upon the lazy arrogant young human a curse instead, one that would_____________?
