You recognize your body but it does not know you

"Oh hey, that's cool, a headless guy..." you start to say before trailing off. Wait a minute. That wasn't just any headless body, it was YOUR headless body!
But what does that make you?
You look down to see nothing below you aside from Maddie's desk. Holy crap, you're a head. Nothing more than a disembodied head. You suddenly realize you can't feel anything below your neck. But how you got here was a bit hazy, you just remember waking up here. Did Maddie behead you and steal your head?

"Maddie, what's going on, why am I headless?" you whisper to her. She looks a bit surprised as you've found her out.
You then watch your headless body approach, before pulling out its phone to type a message.

"Hey, what's up? By the way someone told me I was headless, do you know what happened?" your body typed to Maddie. You figure your body saw you and realized it was its head, but you are quickly proven wrong. Your body then looks over at you before typing again.

"Also, nice head you've got there. Handsome. Where'd you find it?" your body types.

Oh boy, you weren't just a head with an autonomous body, your body doesn't even realize you're its head.
A look of confusion and shock goes across both your and Maddie's face. She becomes even more conflicted on telling you now. You knew your body, but it didn't know you. She looks back and forth between you and your body.
