This choice: a Busy mother mistakes you for her child on pickup. • Go Back...Chapter #4Unknowing Kidnapping by: Unknown While staring at out the window, you didn't notice the woman entering the daycare and walking up behind you. You didn't notice, that is, until she wrapped her arms around you and lifted you off the ground. You let out a yell, which was quickly silenced by a pacifier being jammed into your mouth.
"There there Sammy. It's just mommy." The woman cooed, patting your head. You didn't know what was going on, so you struggled against her, but her grip was like steel. There was no escape, no matter how hard you struggled. The woman walked to the entrance of the day care. The day care lady from earlier saw you, and began speaking to the woman carrying you.
"I have to tell you something ma'am." The day care lady spoke up. "Your son was found running around the mall earlier. You better keep good watch on him."
"Is that so?" The woman asked, squeezing you tighter. "I'll make sure he gets a deserving punishment when he gets home." The thought chilled you, but not as much as finally realizing what was going on. This woman had mistaken you for her own child, and was going to take you home! With this new thought, you renewed your efforts to escape, with no result.
The woman carried you out of the day care center and to her stroller she had parked several feet away. She set you down into the chair, but before you could even think about escape, she strapped you tightly into the stroller, preventing any movement. It was right then that the thought of speaking to her crossed your mind, but the weird pacifier she had put into your mouth wouldn't come out! It was too tight! It was like some kind of muffler!
The woman began whistling a happy tune, as she pushed the stroller out of the mall. On your way out, you passed by Mary and Gary, but neither of them took any notice of your predicament, probably because a stroller being pushed by a mother would be the last place they would look for you. The woman pushed the stroller out of the mall and to her car waiting in the parking lot. Once there, she unstrapped you, and set you down on the ground while she packed up the stroller.
You realized that this was your chance to escape. You saw three possible places to run to: back into the mall, over to Mary and Gary's mother's car (which was a few feet away), or into a large tour bus that was currently loading up. Which route do you take?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
