A woman's voice comes from behind me.

I heard a ruffle of some leaves behind me, and I was spooked by a rather toned feminine voice. "Why'd you come out here?" Silence, I just start to turn around and hope its not someon.. then im greeted by a girl with a dim layer of grey fur, black bangy hair, and two perky ears. "Uah- Who are you?" I stammer out, and then notice her poofy grey tail going to a black bodysuit. She's a alien.

"Glenhope, im a space scout." What? "You don't know, but we watch over Earth and act as guardians from space pirates and asteroids and things." So.. more to comprehend, but I think I get it, but im confused still. "Im.. Dave, nice to meet you. May I ask, how do you know English and look humanoid?" Seeing that she has deep amber eyes and a small nose, im less surprised to see alot of sharpish teeth in her smile. "We study everything here, and our evolutionary process went similar, except we started using genetic modifications thousands of years ago." I turn away to take a drink of water from the lake, a alien girl and things, I just wanted to run off. She's almost six and a half feet tall, then she started approaching me.

"Lot to take in, right? Anyway- ready to go to my ship?" She bends close and asks, and im not really feeling a bad sense or, thinking running could be better?
