Chapter #2

Logan (Wolverine)

Logan was sitting in the kitchen in a pair of rather tight light blue jeans and a plain white t-shirt. He was leaning back on a barstool drinking a cold beer, his old but sturdy boots propped on the counter. He tilted his head back and downed the alcohol with exceptional speed. He picked up his fourth bottle. -SNIKT- One of Logan's adamantium claws popped out and slashed the top of the bottle off with ease. Logan then put his lips to the bottle and quickly finished that one off too.

Life at the X-Mansion had been different for him. He was used to sneaking and hiding, killing and hurting; not normal things like playing games and chatting. Heck, he wasn't used to friends either. That could account for his poor social skills, perhaps. He had no problem talking with people, meaning he wasn't shy. Far from it, the opposite was true. Logan had a tendency to state exactly how he felt and why, and if someone didn't agree he'd tell them where they could go.

Some at the mansion, like Bobby Drake, found Logan's way of life to be ideal. Others, like Scott Summers, saw Logan as a lost cause and a nuisance to him and all of existence. Logan didn't care either way. If people liked him, they liked him, if they didn't, they didn't. He wasn't in the business of changing minds; that is, unless killing them counted.

Fate however had managed to get Logan to this place, the Xavier Mansion/School. Logan had been looking for answers and he was hoping old man Xavier might help him out, since he was a telepath after all. Xavier had helped some, but for the most part he emphasized that Logan would have to recover the lost memories of his past on his own - aggravating Logan considerably. And yet, this hadn't caused Logan to leave. He stayed. Most attributed this to Jean and his obvious attraction for her. But when she died, at his hands no less, he still remained. Xavier was gone now too, so him being telepathically controlled to stay there was ruled out.

He stayed for a few reasons. The first being that he didn't really have anywhere else to go. The second was because he'd made some friends there, though he wouldn't admit that, at least not in words or anything. Logan was also helping Ororo and the students at the mansion, carrying on where Xavier, Jean, and Scott had left off, and he enjoyed it too.

This particular day, the mansion was fairly empty. A few students in their rooms or outside, one or two maybe in the den or something. Occasionally one would enter the kitchen for something to eat or drink. Logan paid them no heed, and for the most part allowed them to do whatever they wanted. Ororo was gone to pick up some needed essentials, and Hank was off in New York or Washington, one of the two. Bobby, Marie, Pete, and Kitty were probably hanging out somewhere.

You have the following choices:

1. While, Bobby was welcoming a new student.

2. Then, somebody call the door.
