Chapter #5Takeover ex machina by: Struiner Alex shrugged, realizing he didn't need to worry about a job when he could have anything he wanted. Sitting down he went to work. He made himself the major shareholder in the company, chortling. Now at least he didn't have to worry about money anymore.
He pulled up Staci's avatar again. Breaking off the affair she had, Alex decided to keep her as his assistant. He could use some decent help if he wanted to have some fun with this place. An assistant that was actually useful, not just good for messing around with. So he upped her dedication, making her devoted to him. He gave some extra education, making her fluent in several languages and giving her degrees in accounting, business management and nursing, because reasons.
He went through the changes, thinking this was enough for now. Too big of an alteration and he might get nose-bleeds like in that movie. So better keep it small, just to be safe. He checked the box for people to accept the change, took a sip of coffee, and pressed sync.
Nothing happened. He put down his cup, inspecting the screen. Changes complete. He pulled up his own avatar. The program said he was now the major shareholder in this company. So why was he still at his crummy desk? He had at least expected a bigger office or something. He pulled up the program log, trying to find out what had actually changed.
Just then, his phone rang. He ignored it, scrolling further down the event log. Amazed at the level of complexity the program contained. It was set up to make a series of changes, calculating what set had the least amount of impact to reach it's goal, to make this world into what it's user wanted it to be. Apparently, it had given him a small fortune in bitcoins, currently being managed anonymously by some off-shore firm.
His phone rang again. A foreign number. He answered. "Werner, Brooks and De Lange Associates?" He read aloud from the log.
"Yes. Um. I speak on their behalf." A thin male voice replied. "Is this " The voice paused, reading his name hesitantly. "Antstorm two hundred and sixty? I hope I'm pronouncing that right."
He grunted at the mention of one of his online handles. "Yes, that's me."
"Well I have some good news. The takeover scheme we set up for you has managed to secure 51% of the shares of Stilton Vaultpebble Incorporated. Congratulations, you're the major shareholder. "
"That's great, thanks." He scraped his throat, unsure of what to say. "So what's next?"
"I'm afraid that's up to you, sir. We will forward any dividend, minus fee. The board has contacted us, requesting a meeting at your earliest convenience. They sounded... agitated." The voice continued seriously, yet slightly bemused.
"I guess I'll have to put my assistant on that. Thanks again." He finished politely before hanging up, suppressing the urge to scream in victory. He gets up, completely shutting down his workplace one last time, he takes a moment to enjoy never having to sit here again.
"Sir? Are you going home already?" Staci, holding the freshly made client reports, looked at him questioningly. Her looks had stayed pretty much the same, with a slight change in her posture but a huge difference in demeanor to him.
"No, we're moving to a new spot, a couple floors up." Alex stated, heading for the elevator. She hurriedly caught up.
"Really? I didn't know! Why don't they announce these things like decent people. I should really write a business case about this." She said, checking her phone for any missed appointments. "So why are we moving, sir? What floor?"
"Top." He said, pressing 24. He was enjoying the new Staci, then looked down at his own clothes."I kinda feel under dressed for the top floor. Am I under dressed?"
"You look fine." She said, briefly inspecting him, then turning to him in annoyance. "Why are we moving, sir?"
"I just took over the company." He said, hearing his own words but barely believing them.
"What? How? No way!" She said in disbelief as the elevator moved. He explained about the bitcoins, and the offshore firm.
"I don't think that's legal." She frowned. A smile crept on her face as realization dawned. "But I mean, that is so awesome! So now I'm the chairman's personal assistant! That's so much responsibility!" She squealed.
"I guess." He said, wondering if he had taken the responsibility part too lightly. Suddenly the elevator seemed very small. Looking around for something distracting, his eyes landed on Staci's Ass. He admired her, knowing that she'd let him admire her fully without any second thought. She winked. Seductively putting a hand on his arm, the other moving to his crotch.
"How about some stress relief to say thank you." She whispered, licking her lips as she knelt down. Kissing the fabric that was covering the growing bulge of his cock. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
