Reading the grafitti, he wasn't quite as amused by the act of rebellion as might have been previously. The memories he'd seen of his father, from Severus' perspective put quite a different light on his rather rose-tinted imaginations.
The sight of the pranking Weasley twins was less fun than he'd hoped, when he thought about the consequences.
Hell, he even regretted the christmas gift he'd given Fred and George on their birthday. It had felt like the most suitable of presents, and he'd bought it without a second thought. The book of pranks and initiation rites was drawn from history, and exclusively from the muggle world.
Well, the author didn't know that, but that was because... he was a muggle. Harry smirked to himself at the innocence of that statement. Once he'd been oblivious to the magical world, and he was part of it. Unaware of even his own magical outbreaks, his hair growing wild after a particularly cruel and malicious cropping by his aunt.
His only recollection was the relief he felt that it wasn't going to be the source of more abuse. It was too late to get the book back, but the way the twins spoke of it. They saw it as a challenge, to try to recreate every single one as best they could.
The mutterings of 'panty raid' was what pricked up Harry's ears as they'd sped past. It just sounded too muggle.
