Dez POV
I'm usually pumped full of energy but today I was extra pumped full of energy. I finally got my chance to complete my dream project. Ever since I held my first camcorder I knew I didn't just want to film family moments but to direct a movie. Not just any movie, but a movie written, stared and directed by me. I just couldn't control my excitement. I got everything I needed to make my film. Though it was a short film I was not deterred to make it any less than perfect. With my friend Austin acting in it how could it be anything but perfect, it was gonna rock. I got the location and everything ready for the first shoot of my film, "The Bully I love to Hate." The title was a stroke of genius. All that was left for me to do was go and pick Austin up.
Austin POV
My alarm kept buzzing even after I was well sort of awake. I wanted nothing more than to hit the snooze button and sink back under my covers into a deep sleep, almost a hibernation like bears. I just had to promise Dez that I'd act in his movie. I thought nothing of it at the time, Dez always gets strange and quirky ideas all the time but none of them ever pan out. Guess there's a first time for everything. Man today is starting out weird already I'm talking to myself. Well as long as I don't answer. I noticed the time and freaked. Dez would be here any minute and I'm still in my boxers. No time for a fresh pair of underwear, I threw together an outfit I left on the floor from the day before. A simple black shirt and blue basketball shorts would have to do. No sooner I got my shoes on I heard Dez's signature knock at my door. I ran out the door and was greeted by Dez's infectious smile. Even though I was still reluctant and worried about his movie Dez's smile always put me at ease. "Hey Austin, you ready to make movie magic?" He asked me chipper as ever. He was so energetic I couldn't help but feel the same. " Whatever you say Dez, I did promise after all." I said as we headed out. "Dez hold up who is that?" I asked noticing a strange looking man waiting in a red sports car. "Oh him that's victor he's gonna drive us to the set." Dez said as he pushed me towards the car. The man identified as Victor opened the rear door and ushered me in. Dez sat shotgun. He looked back at me and said, "I know normally you ride shotgun, but I am the director after all." We both looked at each other and laughed. "I guess your right, mister director." I said jokingly. "Show some respect!" Victor shouted glaring at me from the rear view window. "It was a joke, meant to be funny." I said a little unnerved at being yelled at like that. "it's cool Victor." Dez said easing the tension in the car. "Sorry sir." Victor said in a more respectful tone than the one he used to rail me. "Austin man, I hired Victor here to be my driver so he's super strict on respect." Dez said as he noticed the hurt in my eyes. I nodded my head in understanding. I had bodyguards during some of my concerts who corrected fans when they treated me with anything but respect. "I'm sorry Victor." I apologized but Victor remained silent. We finally arrived, and Victor helped Dez out of the car I was chopped liver as I had to help myself out. Victor than drove off leaving us in God knows where. The place was really remote even more so than Dez led me to believe. In the middle of the barren wasteland, there was what appeared to be a school, and a neighborhood across from it, but what was weird is that it seem lifeless almost like a ghost town. "How do you like my set?" Dez asked. "Um what's your movie about? Is it a horror film?" I asked, I than realized I had agreed to act in a movie I had no idea what kind of movie it was. Dez then explained to me that he was gonna play the bully and I was gonna be his victim. "Sorry to bring this up but how are you gonna make a movie with just the two of us?" I asked noticing the distinct lack of actors and a film crew. "Bro it's all taken care of. See there is this new software where after we finish shooting I can splice in all the other actors scenes I shot months ago." He replied. "Wait you filmed some scenes already? Won't I be lost?" I asked surprised that Dez had began filming already. "Act one take one!" Dez scared me when he yelled that out. Unexpectedly while I was trying to regain my composure from my scare Dez punched me hard in the stomach. The pain brought me to my knees. "Who told you you could walk in my presence? I'm gonna beat the crap out of you!" He yelled as he began kicking me while I was on the floor. I did my best to cover my body from his kicks. "Dez stop please!' I cried. "Cut!" Dez yelled. "Austin dude I'm not Dez I'm Mark the bully and that makes you Chris the victim." He said as he helped me up to my feet. "If that was the case than why on earth did you really beat me?" I asked as I rubbed my sore body and wiped the blood from my face. Dez didn't answer instead he stayed silent, finally he broke the silence and told me, "It has to look believable, I want my movie to rock!" He exclaimed. I need a break I told him as I headed inside the set of the school.
Dez POV
I couldn't believe he would just call it quits after only not even a day. I was busy packing up my equipment no longer feeling energetic, I felt sad. I really wanted to make this movie work. "Hey Dez I'm sorry, just go easy on the hitting, I know you want to make it look real, but I don't handle pain well." He said. "Hey Austin don't sweat it bro, let's take five and than we can do the next scene the humiliation scene" I told him. The look of fear and confusion on his face was priceless. We hugged it out to symbolize no hard feelings and that after we ate we could resume the movie. I was excited about the next scene I the bully that is got to
