Chapter #5Head to the beach. by: Teraton Weather's nice today, Daniel mused, wouldn't mind going for a swim. Living in a city on the coast had it's perks: namely, on a good day, it'd take him less than half an hour to get to a beach. With water on the brain, Daniel swung by his apartment to change.
He grabbed a backpack, stuffing a towel and a pair of shades into it. Daniel emptied his pockets, tossing his phone and wallet into the bag as well. He lingered for a moment as he withdrew the wand, and without really thinking about it, tossed it into the bag as well, before continuing to change. A minute later, he stood ready to for the beach: suntan lotion applied, his jeans and boxers traded for a pair of black and red swim trunks, his shirt traded for a plain, old, white t-shirt, and his sneaker swapped for some sandals. Smiling, Daniel headed out the door.

Just a short drive later, Dan was stepping onto the boardwalk. His bright mood had only increased in the bright sunlight.
Man, he thought, it's a beautiful day. Beach looks nice too, he thought, gazing out over the sand, when a woman caught his eye. She walked past him onto the beach, wearing a brown o-ring bikini with a strapless top, more suited for the sun than the surf. As his eyes followed her legs up, he found she was looking back at him, and he shrank away after their eyes met. After she turned and kept walking though, he had to smile.
Yep, he smirked, lots of gorgeous sights today.
Looking back and forth, Dan saw that, besides the beach, there was also an amusement park a bit further down the boardwalk. Dan waited a moment, before walking down to... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
